Well, on the way home last night with my new Forester, I experienced clutch slippage while accelerating out of the 50km/h zone. The roads were slick so I put it out of my mind as a loss of traction(wishful thinking).
I drove my kids to karate today and bam, 3rd & 4th it slips while nearing full boost(car is stock). I'm going to try to adjust the pedal as it sits fairly high(wishful thinking again).

So I ask for you guys to recommend a reputable place, in either Germany or the UK, where I can get a factory replacement unit. I don't plan on taking the power to any serious level, TD04 at most when the TF035 bites the dust. I'm gonna shoot to Subaru tomorrow morning to see how large they want to open my rear-end for a clutch kit. And before you say, 'you should do this this and this while you're in there', I never do stuff half-assed when it involves this much work.

I'll be:
-Swapping the disc/PP/TOB(oe)/pilot bearing/rear main/FW bolts.
-Hitting the FW with a 3M brown-pad. Done it quite a few times with serviceable(not abused) FW's and they've been ok.

And does anyone have a link to a factory manual online?? I like to be prepared(doing it on my back, no air/no lift), so having a guide is a plus.
I'm an experienced wrencher so i'm pretty good to go. Any special tools besdes the Alignment tool & flywheel holder?

Thanks everybody....

BTW is this the right clutch kit?? The search reveals (2):

http://www.q11-shop.de/k/exedy/kupplung/kupplungssatz-scheiben/kupplungssatz/subaru/forester/2-0-turbo/s11082

Standard unit for €216.xx...not bad, ya think??

Then under "similar/alternative products", and they list:

SACHS clutch kit 3000 951 745 (D 230/230) @ €402.-

EDIT-Just found Onlinecarparts.co.uk and the SACHS unit, same part# as above costs £300(€355).
So I can safely say that that is the 'OE' replacement Sachs.

BUT Exedy.co.uk lists the part# as FJK2022...

HELP!!!

My advice:
Post your request on the German forum
http://www.subi-evo-treff.com
or on the German forum
Startseite - Subaru Community

Of course you have to register on both forums at first.

But because you are living in Germany already since 5 years, I suppose, it will not be a very big problem for you to post your request in German language.

Be sure, if you nevertheless will make some mistakes in your German request because of your origin, nobody will laugh at you.

Especially on the first listed forum are some specialists for automotive engineering - as far as I know even a Subaru dealer.
