For a while now the NSF CV joint has been clicking on half to full lock on left and right turns. It was fairly intermittent but it has gotten worse over time.
What is it in the CV joint that has failed, or usually fails. I am familiar with the inner CV joints but not with the outer. Are they the same?
Import Car Parts sell a CV joint kit but from the pic it just looks like the CV cup and a few seals. No tripod thingy or bearings etc.
Any input will be very helpful.
