Band Adjustment?

Either I am getting bored with my car or it's getting bored with me...

Seems that lately, the AT is more uncertain as to which gears to use; it takes longer to lock (OD) around town. Maybe I just feel it hunting more.
It's maintained regularly (changes, levels, etc), 151K mi on the clock.

Are the bands user-adjustable? If so, how?

Don't know about any DIY band adjustments? If the ATF hasn't been replaced in awhile, it may be time.

As to OD lock up. We normally drive in 3, shifting up to 4 (D) when we're above 50 mph.

I also think you need to change the ATF fuild and filter.
