Default Automatic Transmission Internal Filter Part Number?

Hi All,

Need a bit of help. I caught a rock at speed and dinged up my automatic transmission cover. Thankfully, when we opened it up, the cover did its job and protected the really expensive parts. Unfortunately, the internal transmission filter has a hole in it. I've beaten the cover back into shape and have patched the filter, but I'm having trouble finding a part number for the filter.

Anyone have it?

Thanks!

Kash

p.s. my forester is a japanese edition - December 2005 edition

Best I can do is point you to here to look it up. http://opposedforces.com/parts/

You may have to do some cross referencing of part numbers to confirm, but it should be a start.

I tried finding it too, found the spin on filter, but not the PN for the pan filter..

I'm sure where you are(location) is not easy, you may need to find and call one of the online SUBARU Parts dealers, WITH the transmission code...

Wouldn't surprise me if it was part of a package. Subaru likes to group things together in packages to sell to customers.

The internal filter is really nothing more than a pick up screen. No issues using an after market.
