Hi All,
I'm a newbie to this site. I'm the proud owner of a 2000 Forester S (140,000 miles and counting) which I love. I'm a car idiot so please excuse me if this seems like a stupid question. Between 60-80 mph I have developed a noticable vibration in the steering wheel. Some further information: 1. The tyres are relatively new (2000 miles ago) 2. It doesn't happen when I'm breaking. 3. From 0-60mph and from 80mph and above there is no vibration 4. The steering vibrates visibly and is very uncomfortable to drive with. 5. There is no pulling left or right when breaking. 6. I had the rotors changed and this hasn't made any difference. Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Many thanks in advance. Robin Brown |

Agreed, perhaps an alignment would do the trick. This is especially true if the car did not have an alignment at the time that the tires were replaced. Our service advisors here generally recommend doing an alignment when changing all 4 tires.
