Default Rear Differential Drain Plug Torque

I had the gear oil changed the other day and wanted to retighten the plugs as per torque specs. Anyone know the value? For now I tightened them to 28 ft. lbs.

OK then. I sort of figured it was over 30 but I knew that it wouldn't fall at 28. Thanks again.

Yet another reason to be a contributing member. :)

Changed oil in my Daughters 2008X Differential.. I couldn't budge the drain plugs on my 2008 but with hers I ran the rear up on ramps and used a breaker bar. They came out pretty easily.

Went with Mobil 1 Syn. Had mine done at Subaru and they also put the Mobil-1 in. After seeing how the stuff looks I think I'm gonna do another change with the Mobil-1 in mine. I know I'm wasting money...but its only money. :)
