Rattle noise in the rear - Page 2

That's two mystery rattles down. Now there's a little one coming from the right side of the dash/windshield pillar area. I'm thinking maybe the pollen filter. Isn't that someplace in that vicinity?

I have a mystery rattle/crackling sound which appears to come from the drivers side top of the dash possibly above the instrument cluster or somewhere like that. if often bothers me when driving with the windows closed if the radio is quiet. no clue what it is but i think it's been there from day one, i have about 3300k on my 08 sports xt now.

I had one there when the car was new. It disappeared as mysteriously as it came.

I also have had this mystery noise and it was driving me crazy trying to find it. It turned out to be the the rear seat latch, on the right side. Other threads suggested wrapping tape around the steel part, but I have yet to try to fix it. At least I feel better knowing what it was!
