Radio Dead

I took out the cabin air filter and cleaned it last night, let it dry over night, put it in this morning and now the radio will not turn on.

Meanwhile, your question prompts me to ask: I was about to buy my first cabin air filter and install it myself, but I am wondering if it's too difficult a task for a basically clueless person like me. I am not handy at all, but it looks like I just remove the screws which hold in the the glove box and then slide the filter out. Is it really as easy as it sounds?

I check my own fluids and stuff, but I don't even change the oil myself. I don't want to break anything (radio or otherwise)!

Thanks for any advice on how easy the cabin air filter might be.

Yes it that easy there are 9 screws so keep looking until you have removed them all on the right side there are two clips on the inside just pull straight back and the glove box panel will come off. Just above the the blower is where the filter sits, you have to take off the small hatch and pull it out.

I did not buy a new one just sprayed it with simple green and let it sit for about 10 minutes washed it off then used a air compressor to blow out most of the water and let it dry over night to be sure it was completly dry.

Did you happen to pull out the power line when you yanked off the glove compartment?
