Did some searches and could not find anything - my parking lights say on regardless of the car being on (key in ignition rolled two stops forward). I have to remove a 20 amp fuse in the engine compartment to make them go off when the car is not in use. I had a check engine light for a couple days last week and it went off about the same time the parking lights started staying on. Anyone seen this before? Thanks. Ryan

Of course, there's the one found here:

Mother Focker! - it is that f-ing switch. I feel like an idiot. &^%$#~!!! I had the car cleaned on Friday - they must have hit it while wiping off the dash.
What is the point of that switch? I ran searches for parking lights and didnt come up with anything - hence my post. Sorry to repeat topic. Thanks for the replies - much appreciated. |

In some countries, many years ago, before streetlights became common, you had to leave the parking lights on when you parked, so as not to cause an accident. They're still with us.
