Default Oil change part numbers

Hi.

Does someone have the part numbers for:

Crush washer (to be replaced when oil drain plug is removed)

Fumoto valve (a very very good one)

2009 Forester Turbo
Canadian Model

Many thanks

For the oil valve, f-105 and f-105N (one with nipple).

Super. That answers both.
Now, how many litres of oil does it take? Does this number include pre-filling the filter?
An service sheet on this would answer my prayers.

It's an 09 so you have your owners manual right? 4.2 qt.

If you don't do the Fumoto valve, the factory crush washer is
11126AA000.

Only problem with warming engine up especially the first time you do it is that when you pull the plug you get really hot oil all over your hands. Also remember is shoots out sideways and doesn't go directly down.

Hahaha, "Be careful when removing the old oil filter, it is full of oil" classic. Yep that's pretty much how to change your oil, and whatever you do don't drain the trans and double fill the engine oil.

If I do it while the engine is cold will I get all the old stuff out? Or should I just run the car for a minute and pray?

All peaty's info is for an older Foz. Does anyone know if there would be changes for a 2009 FXT?

Check your owners manual for the fluid capacity. I don't think it has changed, it should still be 4.8 quarts with filter replacement. The 09 still uses the same block as previous years and the oil change procedure pretty much applies to all Subies of all years. Same crush washer, same Fumoto valve.

If you have a skidplate you should be fine.
