has anyone used SteelSeal?

I have a '99 Forester, changed head gaskets (torqued properly, installed clean... but did not have them machined b/c my straight edge and the surfaces showed no noticeable warping).

I changed the thermostat and rad cap... still getting white smoke.

I pulled the heads again to see if there was any issue with the new gaskets, which there was not, and cleaned everything and put them back on, with same results...

it's now Friday, and as you know, heads take a good bit of time to get off and on. I can't get the heads turned around at the machine shop until Wednesday, and to be honest, I HAVE to get to work, so at this point, I'd be willing to use SteelSeal in order to do so.

PLEASE, someone tell me I'm not insane!

I'm considering the same thing. The reviews on Steel Seal appear to be really good.
