FWD Light is staying on??

I drive a 1998 Subaru Forester L and my FWD light is staying on on my dash what does this mean and how do I go about fixing it myself? Thanks!!!

I know this may sound horribly simple, but there isn't a fuse in the "FWD" fuse slot, is there?

Check in the owners manual where it is located. I forger if yours is on the firewall or if it is in the fuse box under the hood.

I will have to check on that when I went to subaru I can't remember exactly what was said all I remember was numbers somewhere around 800 i was like whoa no way!!! So I will check and see where exactly is the FWD fuse located may I ask? and thank you!!!

Look in the fuse box under the hood, behind the battery. The lid has a diagram on the underside. Look for the slot that says FWD (or AWD, I forget). If there's a fuse in that slot, pull it.
