Fuel Filter Location

I ordered a box of parts to perform the 60K service on my '08 including the fuel filter. Turns out that I cannot find the fuel filter. What the parts place sent me looks a filter that would be mounted somewhere on the firewall or strut tower, but I cannot find a filter anywhere.

Does anybody know where the filter is on an '08 or even if there is a changable filter. I know some Honda's and Yota's have gone to the "infini-filter" mounted in the gas tank. I may have the pleasure of owning that one which I guess means you run the car until gas stops flowing.....

Any help would be appreciated.

It's in the fuel tank. It was moved there in '05.

Ok that's kinda what I was afraid of. Check the classifieds for a real cheap NIB fuel filter for an '04 or older.....

The in tank fuel filter is a PIA to change, so if you're going in there, you might as well install a Walbro fuel pump upgrade...
