Centre Differential Needed: Forester Shuddering On Slow Tight Turns

Hi all,

I just purchasing a 1997 Subaru Forester from Japan, as soon as I collected it from our port (I'm in the Caribbean) I noticed a shuddering when turning in the car park.

I've checked out various discussions, including:

I've taken it to our mechanic and he has isolated the problem to the center differential in transmission (I've attached pics and a diagram to illustrate the part I mean).

Does anyone know of a good place to source this asap? I've searched everywhere!

Thanks in advance for any help!

Bob
