Hi all,
Proud new owner of a 13 Forester here! ![]() Just had some general problems, which aren't a big deal but just curious if anyone else seem to notice. When I first start the forester, it appears the entire car shakes a little. This goes away once I put the care in gear. Secondly, it seems like my front windshield likes to accumulate condensation on the inside anyone else experience these issues? Much love. |

It's normal for car to run rough in cold high idle startup.
You need to clean your interior window really well. Mine took 2-3 cleanings with a good glass product. Recommend Stoners glass cleaner from auto parts store. Welcome to this forum!

This pretty much sums it up. A clean windshield is a happy windshield. Its more likely to fog when its dirty. I usually clean it with some glass cleaner and perhaps some Rain-X anti fog. I've had pretty good luck with it. I've never tried Stoners, but I think I'll try it out next time i'm at the store. I wouldn't worry about the rough cold start. That's perfectly normal.

^and keep in mind that it will shake side to side most likely because of the design of your engine-don't be alarmed by that.
