I was forced to replace the rearview mirror in my 2001 Subaru Forester(extreme heat blow out the auto dimming feature - get yellowish blop floating about). My Subaru 2001 Forester rearview mirrow have compass and auto dimming features. I ordered a rearview mirror from subaruparts.com, which look axactly like my rearview mirrow on their site but when I get it, it look completely difference. They say that Subaru no long make the original design. My concern is on the original there are two wire attachment but on the replacement there is only one. Have anyone replace the original compass mirror with the new model?
