Hey everyone,
I purchased a 98 L with keyless entry last week. It always works to unlock the drivers door but only seldomly works to unlock the other doors. I have looked through the manual online but didn't find info about any idiosyncrasies. Can anyone help clear up why it isn't consistent? Oh yeah, I have replaced the battery with a new one. Thanks!

One press on the fob unlocks the drivers door only and two presses in quick successon will unlock all the doors. It's a safety feature. I found that it can be tricky to get the double press speed just right to get all the doors undone. It can take a few tries.

I found another thread that had my answers from Peaty (thanks!).
They are here: Impreza Alarm - ScoobyMods Subaru Keyless Entry, Security Alarm, Immobilizer Key, Remote Start Systems. Most years and models

On my 99 I found I have to hold the unlock button to unlock the doors other than the drivers.
Maybe this is your case? Our Accord is like what Peaty said, two quick presses for all the doors to unlock.
