Head Machining/Resurfacing

I've searched for this long and hard (but it's a bit more difficult on an iPhone). I need my heads resurfaced or possibly checked and rebuilt. I don't mind sending them in, but I have no idea to where.

So my question is, what is a good, reputable shop that'll resurface and/or rebuild Subaru heads?

I went through a similar search recently - just finished putting back a resurfaced/rebuilt head in my sister's BMW yesterday.
I would suggest you contact a trusted mechanic (preferably one that specializes in Subarus) or a dealer and see where they have their heads done at.
Many repair shops, including dealers, don't have their own machining facilities and send the work out to be done. But since they're the ones that are on the hook for the overall repair of the vehicle, they usually know who the good local machine shops are.
