Am I missing any mods?

Just looking for mods that increase straight line performance right now. I don't care about bettering handling or braking at the moment. I am where I feel I need to be with those items.

A few things are out for me right now:

1) Newer Access Port
2) Manual Transmission
3) Bigger Turbo
4) Headers.
5) Pro Tune *I might be be receptive to it, just a little bit reluctant since I have done my own tuning on other vehicles* ....still might want to hold off if I am missing any mods.

Here are my mods (some are old school and you might not like them but I am not backing up):
  • TD04-13T RichStage4 P&P turbo with WRX WastegateCeramic & VHT Coating/SPT Heat Shield
  • Stage 2 Cobb OTS Tune & V1 AP,
  • Cobb Turbo Back Exhaust with VHT coated Cobb catted downpipe
  • Ported and Polished TurboXS Uppipe with VHT Coating
  • STI Ported and Polished '08 Exhaust Manifolds with VHT Coating
  • SPT intake and heat shield
  • Rotella T6 5w-40 (Going to Mobil 1 0w-30 to free up a few HP even if tiny and at the expense of reliability)
  • TB Coolant Bypass
  • Cobb Lightweight Crank Pulley
  • A/C insulator with VHT around transmission cooler hoses
  • Removed underhood insulation
  • Generic Dexron VI (to reduce driveline losses even if tiny and at the expense of reliability)

Thanks.

Turbo inlet upgrade. And STI intercooler with supporting mods to get a cooler charge.

Not sure if the anti-reliability mods are worthwhile but I suppose it's in the eye of the beholder.

Thank you and yes in the eye of the beholder....just my philosophy on things especially when the risk of damage is very light and the vehicle is almost NEVER EVER abused. My mindset is vastly different than the mindset of the Subaru community, but that also makes me a valuable part of the Subaru community as an example of the guy who blew something up....if it ever came to that.

Side note: My research on here seems to indicate that the STI intercooler cost someone some horsepower/mph in the quarter when used on a TD04. I held off because of that.

Hey, thanks for following.

Quick note: Don't mess with Dexron 6.....since my earlier version of the 4EAT's OEM spec is Dexron III. Dexron 6 is backward compatible with Dexron III (with potential issues supposedly).

Some say spun bearings outside of the Rotella T6 5w-40 vertical, and I respect that. Apparently 0w-30 Mobil 1 AFE doesn't sheer down from the 30W like some other 30W, so I am all for it with it's decent cSt at 30W/40C.

Sorry, I wasn't sure if you are automatic or manual. I meant, don't mess with D6 Transmission Fluid for your year.

Understandably. More volume to fill from the smaller td04 turbo. Was pretty sure you were looking for drag strip goals but thought I would include it anyways. Turbo inlet is def worth the time and effort imo. Good luck on your drag times.

I believe it just has a rear LSD. EDIT: Anyone know how can I tell? Researching now, but coming up dry.

Thank you very much. So turbo inlet huh? What brands are out there? Pain in the neck job? Any fitment issues? I did the turbo recently, so I should already know if it's an easy job, but with so many other cars and things done I tend to forget what I have and have not done.

My xt limited has just about every option on it. Do they all say "heavy duty raised suspension" on the window sticker?

That's nice to have. Mine is spartan....which is good for weight I'd guess. I've never seen that sticker so I'd say no.

I was lucky enough to have the original owners keep everything documented. I even have Wyoming valley motors subaru business cards from the salesman who sold it

I have got everything as well....immaculate service records....even Subaru pre-certified! I got mine with just 75k and it only has 105k now. Even have the window sticker....just don't have it handy. I just won't say where I got it on this forum for unfortunate political reasons.
