Default 2012 forester xt exhaust options

I cannot locate the sticky that contains all of the aftermarket exhaust options for the 09+ Forester. Anybody have the link?

Any exhaust for the 08+ wrx or 2011+sti sedan will bolt rite up. Just be aware if you get one with duel tip mufflers you will probly have to trim your bumper were single tip will work better. I run a megan racing oe rs catback on my car and it sounds really nice. As far as downpipes go any 08+ wrx/sti downpipe will bolt up for you i run a cnt downpipe.

I was thinking the same thing about the dual tips, definitely want to run single tips. I thought I read before somewhere that somebody was coming out with a new exhaust system soon (not cobb), japanese brand I thought.

I really want the tanabe exhaust that I ran into on ebay, its a dual n1 type exhaust system but they want almost 1100 dollars.

you can run the dual tips just fine. all you need to do is go to autozone or checkers and get their longer rubber exhaust hangers. they are around $4 each and work just fine. that is what I did, that way you dont have to cut anything.

Im not sure what the difference is between the auto and manual pipe models. I think you would be going with the auto model, at least that was the impression I had. Im sure nate knows since he had one. He'll chime in eventually.

If you're looking for just an axleback option check out nameless performance (08+ WRX Sedan). These are simply muffler deletes for approximately $300. Great option if you're going for simply sound.

Yes you have them correct most downpipes only come for a manual since the wrx and sti only come in a manual but i assure you they bolt rite up. If you look at say cobbs website who offers a downpipe for the forester it is the same part# as the wrx/sti. I would get the catless for 210 if i was to do it over again.

Thanks for the reply. Will the cnt downpipe bolt up to the stock exhaust without any modifications?
