Stock head unit subwoofer compatibility

Is the stock 09-10 head unit compatible with an aftermarket subwoofer? What I mean is, will it accept RCA's for a subwoofer? I really hope I wont have to do any modification or swap out the stock unit because I actually kind of like it... yes, im aware subaru makes an OEM unit.

I believe you would have to use a line level converter to get RCA's out or check to see if the amp you would be using would have line level inputs.

2014 2.0XT, finally entered the world of turbos

No on the RCA output. A line out converter for a 2 channel, or 4 for a door speaker amp. They should be about 20 off amazon. PAC makes a good one.
You install it behind the factory radio and connect a set of rca's and run them to your amp. I'd recommend stinger 17 or 20 foot. Maybe $12
