Yes, thanks for remembering... I got the blue kit, but I'd like to see how the red kit looks.

Yea.......while I think the red kit may look good, I almost got red, I thought it might look a bit too much like a circus in the FOZ particularily because of the blue gauges and the blue lights already there.

Here is a pic, yes it's blurry but its the best rep of what it looks like. It is actually not this bright but thats the best pic I could get. Let me tell you, serious PITA to install! Obviously not meant for an LGT so I figured it would be a little problem. I took everything out of the center stack, shift trim, radio, and the cubby/vents. I was hoping that the plug included with the unit would work with the LGT but no such luck. I had to cut the plug and tapped into the light in the cubby, why I removed the whole center stack. That was the easy part, no where to mount the lights, had to get creative. Drivers side wasn't bad, absolutely no place on the pas, don't try this at home folks.

These arent quite as bright as I was hoping for... but they look good! I got the blue set for my car... and I have leftover blue neons from my old mercedes so i have full footwell lighting in my car, including the trunk now!

These lights arent much of a distraction in my opinnion.. they turn on when you have the headlights are on... and you can brighten or dim them with that switch on the driver side.

one KEY note... Run the wire through the cubby hole to both the driver and passenger side. Open the front passenger compartment so you get better access to the wire and you can grab the wire through there and push it down to where the light is. (Passenger side location of the light makes it look dimmer)

Just installed a set of blue ones in the 98 today, except for the wiring everything fits like it was made for it :) For the wiring I just cut the connector off and wired it to the ashtray light.

Drivers side I drilled a hole in the lower panel (directions call for it on the SH), passenger side I took out the lower screw for the blower resistor and mounted the light there, worked perfect (holds resistor in place and the light)

For the wiring I just tapped into the ashtray light (again, just like the SH does) except I had to hardwire it in. Yellow wire from the kit goes to the purple wire on the harness, black to black.

I'll take some pics next time I take the dash apart, going to replace all the HVAC/shifter/radio etc..... with blue lights so it all matches.

How's everyone liking these over time???

For those with blue, do you wish you got red???

Any others besides hondaslayer mount these in a non 09??

Also thoughts on the subaru kit versus a DIY led kit??

dm is thinking about putting these in his 07 fxt and/or 02 wrx.
