I have a 2001, will the HB4 work on mine? Additionally will the "Yellow" bulbs from eBay work in these housing?

I've also got a JDM SF5 (S20 Type A) 2001, and the pictures from the manual seem to fit my car. However, I've removed the two screws at the bottom of the Fog Lamp and it still wont budge. I guess it may clip into the bumper at the top but I cant even move it with plastic trim panel pry bars. Do they seize in position?

Just wanted to say a big mahalos to SenorSubie for the pics and short write up. Upgraded my oem bulbs on my 2001 Foz to Nokya Hyper Yellows this evening. Took about 15 minutes to tackle both lights.

One tip for others ... The two bolts that SenorSubie is referring to are hex bolt screws .. there is one screw in the middle which is used for alignment of the lights which I accidentally unscrewed, definitely want to leave that one alone.

Once you get the two bolts undone, the light pops and you can unhook the lights. As SenorSubie said, rotate the bulbs counter clockwise to remove, install the new bulbs and put everything back together.

Are these the same instructions for a 98 as well? I've got a busted housing assembly on my passenger fog lamp and am looking to replace it as soon as I can find one for a decent price.

Dead post revival but still, I referenced this post today. Once those to screw are out you have to push the light up, then pull the bottom out due to a lip that prevents them from simply bring pulled forward.

We welcome revival of dead posts with relevant info, as it keeps stuff tightly together and cuts down on extraneous hits by the search function.

My 2005 XT took some work but I got the bulb changed.. It is the H3 type.. When I had it all back together, I turned the headlights onto low beam and pressed the fog light switch.. The indicator light came on but no fog lights lit up..I am so bummed.. Now, I will have to get back in there with a VOM and see where the power went.. My fog light fuse is good..any ideas??
