I think I have some left-over pieces of bulk Rockblocker film that I could send you for the price of shipping (if you don't mind cutting your own covers), but I'm afraid the same thing would happen all over again...

I've had several problems with Rockblocker's customer service myself. They double charged me and then sent the wrong item to my house. They refused to replace it until I returned the first item, and they wanted me to pay the shipping costs to return the item. They said they would refund all the shipping once it was proven to be their mistake, but they tried t ocharge my card again when they shipped the correct item. It only took about 10 weeks total to get it all straightened out. This was for a $10 set of Impreza tail light film too.

Awesome, that's just what I need to hear.

So I guess the question now is, who else sells stuff like this?

From RockBlocker today

Quote:
For faster contacting us directly is your best bet. This is not our site and we do not always get notification of PM's, plus we do not pay a vendorship for this site anymore.

Please remember burning your fog lights is not under warranty. Next time dont leave them on while parked or in traffic for long periods of time.

Thanks

Your fogs are on their way
At least they're finally sending a new set out, but won't recognize there might be a problem with the covers and our fog's output levels.

Have you heard anything from them yet?

Drew

Man, talk about copping an attitude.

Don't leave your lights on in traffic? Sheesh.

Yeah, and this was AFTER I explained what had happened more than once.

I don't park and leave my lights on or drive with my fogs in traffic, but whatever it's done.

I had negative experience with rockblocker as well. The film didn't actually fit my Forester properly, it was just a bit short. Rockblocker ended up blaming it on the installer, whom I've used for many other things like tint and he also applies the 3M stuff too. He's been doing it for 20+ years! I wasn't looking for a refund or anything but just some support and the attitude I got was very surprising. I posted a message here on the board but they were a registerred vendor at the time and the mods deleted the thread.

Due to that experience I won't be buying anything from rockblocker again.

Same here man, I won't be purchasing anything from them again, nor will I encourage anyone to deal with them.

I'm not one to stir things up, but it's been 2 months and I'm getting impatient.

Well, another month rolls by and still no covers......must be the holiday traffic.

Thanks Chad, or whatever you name is, for a crappy product and terrible service.

I've already had the opportunity to steer 3 people away from Rockblocker, so don't think being s#@$y to one person here and there isn't hurting your business

Just trying to give people the heads up!

I just want to add that Chad aka Rockblocker also never informed the staff here of his intention to withdraw his vendor status. We've only learned of this through pm's and emails to customers (like the one above) that were posted in this thread.

-1 for terrible communication skills.

Default received

FYI - I got my replacement fog lenses...paid Feb 21, received March 6. Communication with Chad was really less than easy. On top of that, my pair wasn't sent until after I had to send a reminder email - to which his response was that he mailed them the day before the email (but postmark on package was 4 days after email ).

In the end, after some waiting, I got my 1/2 price replacement. I'll just be more careful with this pair - I don't want to have to buy another.

Actually I have the yellow rockblocker and I just noticed a small brown spot in the middle of mine as well looks like a burn spot. I wonder if that is hurting our light output.

It must be the design of the foglamps on the 06+ Foresters... I've had my foglight film installed for 4 years, and no burnage.
