Post 01 forester hid help

Question guys, I had an old set of h4 hids left over from my old civic project; so I thought I'd swap them over since the research I did lead to both bulbs being the same. So when i had everything plugged in, nothing lit up. I had two sets of ballasts and three different sets of bulbs but neither of them worked on low beam. I did notice that the wattage was different on the stock bulbs and the output of the ballasts, but would that matter?

Your relay harness probably isn't made for the switched ground your Subaru has. The wattage isn't your problem.
