Default 2010 Headlights Aim

Hello all. I've just taken a 2010 XT. Where are the adjustment controls for the headlights? I just could not find them just looking and I'd like to save a trip to the shop....

Thanks in advance

If you look under the hood, about the middle of the cluster there is a single bolt, which is about 8mm with a sort of geared washer about 18mm under it. Put a pencil mark on where it is set now before moving it.

I found that adjusting the fog lights, which I presume you have, actually made a bigger difference. Their screw is accessible after removing the lower plastic cover (one screw directly behind the tow hook and one plastic plug on the front lip) The adjustment screw is right next to the globe, sort of hidden inside a plastic shroud. The screw faces forward. It's not the large one on the outside of the housing facing across the car.

If you can't find them let me know and I'll take some pics.

Here we go:
1. The levelling screw for the left main beams is the grey one at the bottom, left third. My pencil mark is just visible at the one o'clock position.

2. Under the car, just in front of the left, front wheel, looking up. One screw directly behind the tow hook and one plastic clip at the bottom, left. Remove both.

3. Lever the centre of the plastic clip out about 3 to 4 mm and then pull it right out.

4. Pull the plastic cover out of the way from the front. The rear stays in place.

5. The large, phillips-head screw in the centre is NOT the fog light levelling screw.

6. The levelling screw is inside the hole just to the left of the brown plug. Use a very short phillips-head screwdriver.
