I'm thuroughly excited to see the outcome of this! I like the idea of taking the flames off the VW and putting then on your back window when you beat him.

All these guys will be shocked. IF.....the RSX gets a launch he'll keep up, not win but keep up. I doubt the RSX has a LSD it's a bit of a pain to install, but he did turbo a N/A car. Coolant bypass helps between runs (heat). Also dry ice rapped in a towel works better than bag of ice. Ice+heat=water water+wires=nothing good

Update!

The Jetta VR6 is out. The kid driving it wrecked it street racing, and he is now driving his beater Integra again. I'm very dissappointed. It turns out the Jetta was his Aunts, and he was driving it while she was away tending to her ill sister.

The Cobra owner still has not given me anymore info, but he has been working on his car quite a bit. He better come thru. If I don't hear definite plans from him soon I may just get a few people together and register myself. One friend of mine just bought a 2008 Dodge Challenger, so I'm trying to get him to take that thing to the track. It has 3k miles on it, so it is broke in and ready to go! I've read they run low 13s in the 1/4 mile so it would be a cool car to go against.

Oh, no That's funny. Sucks for his Aunt, but it is pretty comical.

I took off from a stoplight next to a yellow hardtop Mustang last night. Not launching, I was with him 1st through 2nd, once in 3rd I began to pull away, then I pulled back. You should be able to waste him.

Stan

Wow what a punk ass! He deserved to get spanked on the race track, but you would have been at risk of him crashing into you, so maybe it's better you don't race against him.

You should see all the ripples down the sides of his Integra too. He has hit a TON of stuff. His dad told me about the Jetta, and it sounds like him and his cousin took it without permission and beat the hell out of it before crashing it.

The Integra is in really bad shape too. He got a ticket for loud exhaust, fit it and paid the ticket, then reverted back to the way it was. He removed the midpipe, so it is basically open headers and a muffler outback for looks. The last time he crashed it he hit a curb sideways and the rear wheels now look like this from behind / /.

He is always racing thru the neighborhood and trash talking so I was REALLY hoping to crush him on the track.

That kid is going to end up under the wheels of a big rig one day trying to pull a Fast and Furious move and he won't be as lucky as the WRX driver who got run over by that rig last time...bc he isn't in a Subaru obviously.. lol

What a tool.. I guess this is the downside of the Honda's indestructibility -- punks like this one street race them into the ground. Props to the Acura engineers, Fail for the kid.

i believe we just found another thing that can be videotaped. i'm sure the local authorities would love to see that. to me, driving fast on an open road is somewhat acceptable (very subjective i know), but speeding through a neighborhood, i have no patience for. this kid doesn't need a license. i'm surprised his dad still let's him drive.

His first car was my old 89 Civic Si, and he totalled it within 6 weeks of getting it.
