I was thinking 1/4 mile on the 1/8th it almost going to be unfair (almost)

100 octane race gas map that puts down somewhere around 303whp/356wtq. We didn't have time to tune it to its full potential, so it is a bit conservative.

Do you know what RPM's those hp/tq numbers are at?

Also, the mustang may be the toughest competitor.

Here is a link to a timeslip I found: 1998 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra 1/4 mile Drag Racing timeslip specs 0-60 - DragTimes.com

Ran 1/4 mile in 13.822 at 100.550 mph on 91 octane. He did have some mods listed (cam, port and polish, exhaust/downpipe) and 4.10 gears at the rear (stock is unknown, but less than 3.73). If he's got stock gears, you are golden.

Dude!!! You should bring a dry erase board with a list of expected excuses. After the race, and a few excuses, pull the board out and start checking things off in front of them!

I'm pretty sure the event is at PIR on the 1/4 mile track.

Today I saw the Jetta owner putting two small blue flames on the front fender. I asked him what they were for and he said they are for his "kills" while street racing. He said he is going to put a flame up for each car he "destroys" on the street. He said it was "Fighter jet style". I hope I wasn't that retarted at 18....

^^ HAHAHAAHAA!! Is this the neighbor kid who used to have the messed up Integra?

I would almost drive up to PIR to witness this... they're all going to get their asses handed to them by you.

It's the same kid! I'm hoping to get some pix of the "flame job" soon. I told him he sould use a sharpie and write the type of car he "killed" in the middle of the flame.

I think you will blow the doors off the VR6, those cars are not fast. The Acura wont be able to get a good launch despite what some may think honda does not make good drag cars. The mustang will be the closest but I think you will still beat him and that will be the sweetest win of all. What you should do is race the Vr6 first then the RSX then have them run a losers bracket while your car cools so you can save the mustang for last

The track in pretty busy in on grudge match days, so it could be a good hour between runs. That should be enough cool down time between races. I'll probably run my 02/03 WRX wheels since they weigh just over 16 lbs each.

We will have cameras going at all angles!

Chris, is the mustang the black one? I've seen that guy twice going up the big hill to your house. Both time he stepped on it wiggling the rear of the car as he goes up the hill. He must love to burn rubber or something.

Can't blame him for that! The Mustang driver seems to at least have some respect and knows whats up. You should peel a flame off the Jetta each time he loses and put them on your rear window.

That's the guy. He is the one that is setting things up so I REALLY hope he follows thru!
