I'm still to buy my first Forester. It won't be long now...
By looking at the MY09 thread on the News and Rumors section I've made my mind to get the current model, which is the start. I'll probably buy a brand new one, so now, it's a matter of defining if I should get one now for a good deal on MY07s or wait until March-April and try to get a good deal on an MY08... To make that call, I wanted to know what are the differences between these 2 MYs. The only one I could spot is the 6-CD head-unit. But even with that, all I can say is they look different... Does anyone know what sets them appart?? Cheers! Pedro. |

A few differences that I know off.. The MY08 have cup holder on the front doors but doesnt have a cupholder on the center console anymore. Difference in color if you are after a gray type color (the MY07 urban grey is gone and replaced with steel silver or the darker grey).
On the passenger foot side there is like a pocket next to the center console and I think from memory the 07 doesnt have that. Difference in 6-cd head-unit but then again they also differs depending on where you get the vehicle. The gray color is the biggest difference that I am 100% on, the rest I am going from a shocking memory. :) Oh and the plate on the car which would link to alil bit on the resale value. |

Condoms?
Nah, there's no bench seat ;-} (btw, just got a MY08 and there's a cup holder in the centre console, in the dash (pop-out; the kid is entranced), and just about everywhere else too. Subie must be thinking of a public loo franchise!). |
