It might be a 2005 build MY2006 model
This might help you get the correct O2 sensor
(sorry, just notice your thread said MY06. You have got 2005 listed in your profile)
Engine light on and cruise light flashing. Also cruise control isn't working.
I've been told by a Subaru mechanic that both these symptoms are likely caused by a failed front O2 sensor.
Issue has been occuring for the past month, it worked again by itself for a week but problem came back.
Anyone know what part # for the O2 sensor and cheapest place to buy genuine? Mechanic said he could source one for about $380.
Any chance I could get this working without spending $380? Thinking of selling the car..
Thanks for any advice, have a great weekend!
Have a look at the Europe forum where this has been covered in some depth - sorry I can't find the main thread at the moment. Dare say if you post there someone will quickly refer you
Did this get fixed and what was the resolution? I currently have this issue on my 2012 Forester and Code reads there is an emissions issue I believe. could this be what you were referencing?
