Forester workshop manuals

I have just purchased a 2001 2.0 litre manual Forester. I want to purchase a workshop manual, but can only find one from Haynes which is for the American version, but it does not cover the 2.0 litre engine which is fitted to the Australian version. I have enquired with Subaru (Australia) and am told manuals are not available, do not how workshops do the work? Can anyone tell me where they got their manuals from?

The question was asked how does your local Non-Subaru Dealership mechanic get information ?
there are information providers at a cost.

thats how places like Kmart Auto can have the right info for your car.

I think it is anti-competitive and wrong that I can't buy a repair manual for my Forester.

It also reduces resale value of your car as a DIY buyer would prefer a car that has a repair manual available.....

What next? secret codes so only a Subaru Dealer can change your oil?

So you can't find the FSM on ebay in PDF format for AU market? That's a bummer.
