3 Baby Car Seats

Hello I am wondering if anyone has managed to fit 2 Forward facing and 1 Rear facing car seats in the Forester MY10

When new baby comes in July/August the others will be 14mths and 2yr 8 mths (so not even old/big enough for a booster.

Any makes / models that might do the trick would be very appreciated - as I really don't want to have to buy a new car.

Thanks
Ange

i think you will struggle due to the big bolsters on the sides of the seats. The saving grace will be not needing to utilise the seatbelts once the seat are in

Better buy a bus. I had a '69 Camaro ..so easiest was to stop with two.

Be careful what you wish for.

I noticed there are three roof fixing points for baby seats in my MY'06 Forester.
If you can check the one you are looking at you may have the same there...

Please have a look at the seat I am referring to. There are no issues with side bolsters as mentioned above.

It has been designed to fit 3 across in the back seat.

This is your choice. Period.

Welcome Ange!

Been a long time since I've had that problem but I'm sure the good folks here will try and help you out.

Do you have roof racks

Hi Ange,

We are yet to purchase our first Forrester, we have 1 16mth old and a baby due any day now. I was wondering how you found having 2 car seats in the back? We currently have a Safe n Sound Meridium which will be used for the new baby in the rear facing positing, and are yet to purchase a toddler seat.

I'm interested to see if anyone manages to fit 3 car seats in that car because we will be in the same position 1 day when we decide to have baby number 3!

I've been doing so muc research into the best family cars on the market for 2-3 car seats, and I've come to the conclusion to just look for the most narrow toddler seat on the market since I don't want to be driving a mini van around town!

Good Luck!

Being Brisbane based I imagine Ange is otherwise occupied or lacks infrastructure to access the web at present!

I'm reading with interest as we're approaching this problem with our MY07 forester. Who will be the first to take the plunge?!

We have number two on the way and am dreading having 2 seats in the back. The middle seat is so narrow to start with and baby seat sare so big nowadays. Anyway i agree 2 is enough! lol
