Ok, so doing research I've discovered my only option for a larger scoop on my SF5 is a 2002 JDM STi scoop (bugeye sti) it needs slight modification (sanding and a bit of filling) to fit but will work, now I am wondering will the splitter also work? This would be better and works better for a larger intercooler (which I will eventually be upgrading too) but I have only found info on the scoop itself not the splitter.
THANKS |

I literally just posted an update on this on Friday... There is another scoop option available from a company based out of Australia. Their larger SF5 scoop is available in either fibreglass or carbon fibre.
There is no reason that your factory SF5 splitter won't work with a larger scoop. A larger intercooler however is a different story. Here is my post from the other thread: Quote:

Yeah I just couldnt find there contact info but I'm also on my phone at the moment and sometimes websites dont show everything on it, I'd assume if I get a Process West intercooler for a 2002 WRX it would work on my EJ20 and the splitter with it would work with that hoodscoop? If anybody has that knowledge?
