('98-'00) New FXT mirrors on SF5?

Well, when my Forester arrives it's coming with chrome side mirrors so I'm going to be swapping these out asap (to black to match the body)

HOWEVER... I really like the Forester mirrors that have the LED turn signals built in, I'm wondering how different these mount and are shaped compared to an SF5's... Does anybody know if this has ever been done? or the differences in size/mounting. If it has not been done this might be something I consider trying myself as a first, but I'd like to aquire as much information as possible before attempting.

I want to do the same thing, someone told me the mounting it different and the wiring... Have you had any luck yet?
