Hey everyone im new here. I have been looking for rain guards for my 2003 Forester for a long time with no luck. Does anyone have any clue where I could get my hands on them.

First post! Welcome! If you're looking for these:

they are unfortunately only available from Japan and you better take out a second mortgage to afford them.

I got mine for my Legacy from EDO for $190 shipped. Most expensive two pieces of plastic I've ever bought. ScoobyDoobie's LGT

No, they are not. Vendor fees are too expensive and there isn't a large enough Forester community to support it. See EDO Performance.com - Performance Parts for Subaru, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, from Zero Sports, HKS, GReddy, Defi, Tomei, Jun Auto and More. Contact Yohann.

pull out the roof mold and held in by brackets and 3M double-sided tape.

My directions came in english (apparently a rare thing), so I scanned them here (procedure should be the same on a forester): JDM Rain Visor installation - Subaru Legacy Forums , some other helpful links to pics and such as well.

FWIW, mine do not seem to make any extra noise.

Yeah I think it was only the Forester ones that seemed to. There were a couple guys talking about it after they bought them from EDO a few months ago.

They do not extend down past the top of the window. But since they do stick out about an inch or more, they do offer some rain protection.

I also have not noticed any wind noise from these visors. Definitely nothing over the terrible road noise that my forester has.

I just find the wording funny.

I wanted to do this with the RS way back in the day. That never happened. I may save some cash up and install these, but they will take a far back seat to other options and ideas for the Foz.

I ordered a replacement set of defi gauge senders from EDO about a year ago. Nothing but good things to say about them.
