Weird as it might seem I am not able to logon to subaruforester.org for the past few weeks.
My ISP is Time Warner Roadrunner - it is highspeed (but the customer service really sucks )What i cannot figure is while I am able to ping and get responses back from the website from the cmd prompt - it just wont open in a browser. I am using the same laptop for the last 2 yrs - no new firewall or stuff added newly - beats me ! Has anyone faced this before ? Thanks in advance !

By "logon" do you mean you can't display anything from the website at all? Do you get any errors, like a 404 message? Or is it that you can see the website but not sign on to it? If the latter, do you click "remember me" and have at least session cookies enabled for this site?

Need more MODs!

I don't have a problem getting on, just the time it takes for everything to load. This started when the forum changed ownership. There was a thread on this, but it seemed to have slipped away. I figure if everyone is happy, who am I to complain...:)
BTW, my connection at home is 15mbps(down)/2mbps(up) Verizon FiOS & at work 35mbps(down)/5mbps(up) Verizon FiOS. Bobby...

I have an occassional issue like that but a click of the refresh button usually solves it. If you are unable to access it from home I would check the security and cookie settings of your browser. If you have a second browser on your coputer try that as well.

This happens all the time? The only thing I can think of is that you're affected by an IP ban handed out to a spammer or something. Sometimes the IP's they use are fake, and when we hand out bans they can take down "innocent bystanders", so to speak. PM me your home IP and I'll see if I can match it up. If it's in our ban list, I'll take it off.

I am able to login from work - thats how i access now if i need to. Strange thing is I am replying to your post from a friend's home in Atlanta using the same laptop that i use from home - The isp here is comcast and I had no probs accessing the site. In NC my ISP is time warner - not sure if its time warner who is causing the problem for me - apparently i would think so since i cannot explain anyother way why i can access the website with comcast but not with TW (using the same laptop in either case). What is your ISP ?

Nothing has changed on my laptop firewall wise. Does anyone know if the ISPs have their own set of firewalls which might prevent access to certain sites?
