Hi i can visit the website from work but not home? from home it says website not found? anyone any ideas? could my home ip be blocked?

There have been some complaints over the last few days of the site being slow that they are looking into and last week, I too was blocked for most of a day. I'll forward this post to the Vertical Scope Administrator so they can have a look at it.

Is this always the case? Or just yesterday?
I noticed yesterday the site was really slow for me and a few times came up not finding a page then I had to refresh, better today.
Do you have control over you router, modem, firewall, etc. at your home? Or are you piggybacking off of someone elses network?

@Scc28: I need you to PM me the IP address(es) you have associated with your home account. I checked vBulletin and while none of your known IP's here are blocked at forum level, that's not to say there couldn't be any kind of interference at our server level or your network and/or its providers.

Since you can access the forums fine from work, but not at home, this would point to a network issue, not an account issue.

SysAdmin just reported to me that a bunch of iptables bans were put into effect due to the server being attacked, hence the site slowness everyone was experiencing. He's lifted the IP bans that were in place for the time being though.

The website has been very slow the last couple of days. At times too slow to use. It's better today, but it still feel sluggish to me.

Being on a T1 connection and having slowness you know it's the website We were transferring our databases to a new server yesterday so pulling reports from our site was slow. Needing to refresh multiple times just made me think site maintenance so I wasn't too worried, looks like its under control :)

Are the IP bans back in place?

It got better after you posted the above message, but over the weekend & today it's real slow. It took 30 seconds after I clicked before I got to the reply screen & well over a minute before it posted.

Extremely slow here still. Perhaps dns issue? It takes forever at the "waiting for subaruforester.org" stage, but then all the content loads quickly.
