usb charger in arm rest
I have a 2011 forester. I pluged in to the usb chargeing port in the arm rest and i have no charge.....any one else experience this ?

Right, I believe it's an input, not a charger.

I charge my iphone and ipod on it all the time on that USB port.

I will have to take it to the dealer and have them look it over. I do love my subaru !!!!
Im glad the connection works on my trailer as im heading out to my parents for Thanksgiving |

Mine charges my new ipod nano but not my wifes older version. I was told that the Apple products changed the charging voltage and or the pin location, ( I forget what I was told). Nice teardrop in your avatar, I would love to build one some day.

I have an older Iphone that sometimes charges and sometimes does not! How's that for an answer? What I do is when I plug it in I select the USB input on the radio which then seems to make the car recognize that there's a device plugged in and then it will charge. I usually have a Nano plugged in there and that device ALWAYS charges fine without having to do anything to it.
