I like to stream my music over bluetooth from Spotify and noticed that the artist photos would appear on the head unit in the Outback but not my Forester. I found that the Gracenote Database in the Outback is newer than the version in the Forester.

After looking around a little I came across this reddit on this topic and was able to update the database on the Forester to version 7633.

Hi. Great info but I wonder how to get the files because I cannot login to subarunet. You need a username and password which I do not have. Please advise.
I have a similar need - it appears that the prior directory does not exist and/or is protected, only Subaru retailer documentation seems public (from an initial glance, at least):

https://content.subarunet.com/snet/...dures_manual/SOA_PPM2.htm#Welcome/Welcome.htm

The old site is available via Wayback Machine:

http://web.archive.org/web/20170224...et/business/service/forms/audio_downloads.htm

But, the links are no longer unprotected.

Looking around, the Gracenote website points back to Subaru's consumer pages, which don't seem to help:

Support - Does my car system need an update?

Ideas on where to find the latest Subaru-compatible "Gracenote Media Database Update" would be welcome, please.
