hi, can anybody throw any light on my alarm which is not working as normal. it started in the winter , alarm went off at 3 oclock in the morning. im not sure of the events that followed, i think i had to dissconnect battery in order to stop it going off, dont think i pulled a fuse, just allowed battery to run down. now when i shut the door and press button on key fob alarm keeps chirping, pressing button again turns it off then have to lock door by key any help would be app. michael.

thanks for your reply, i dont want to dissarm the alarm i want it to work normally. maybe i didnt explain myself because there seems to be no one that has had this problem before, basickly when i close the door and press button on remote the alarm locks the door but the alarm keeps chirping, my guess is the alarm thinks the door is open, im sure its only a case of reprograming the key but i need step by step guide, have seen your guide but cant quite work it out. thanks anyway.

Could be something as "simple stupid" as one of the door "I'm closed" buttons is malfunctioning itself.
I had a Supra that would unlock the doors while driving, then lock them again. The interior lights never flickered or anything...but it turned out the passenger door button was either faulty or needed adjustment. In other words...don't overlook anything... |
