Rear cargo cover

Hi there all!

I'm new to the site, and new to the Forester world. I have previously owned a bugeye wrx. A few months back I bought a black 1997 Forester that I hope can take me up to Anchorage this summer. I recently ordered a rear cargo privacy screen on ebay and I am concerned that I may have ordered the wrong part.

Attached are pictures

Here is a picture from up top. The flat part of the screen measures 55.5 inches across and the width is just over 2 inches.

The side of the cargo screen does not fit into the rear of my forester.

Please advise.

Thanks!

That doesn't even look like a Forester cargo cover. First off, the color is wrong... it should be light gray, not dark. It's also missing the flaps/tabs that bridge the gap between the cover and the back seats. The side area where it mounts to the interior trim doesn't match the SG gen cargo cover either. You possibly got one for a different model altogether, or not even a Subie?

The one you need should look like this:

-Silke
04 FXT PP PSM ~ "Subed"
98 Forester S ~ "Slynki"
