Mirrorlink with iOS

Hello, all!

I have been watching a lot of videos and reading a lot online about people with iPhones using Mirrorlink, I know it's possible because there are plenty of YouTube videos showing people doing it.

Problem is that I am not very technologically inclined and I can't figure it out. Will one of you please help me and give me instruction?

Thank you!

And I'm okay with that! From what I can tell, no one is doing anything that will hurt their car. There is an adaptor, but I would rather go the cordless route if I can.

Here's one, though it's not in English and therefore I have no idea what's going on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=STPkOfmunB0

I think I'm okay with that. I really only want nav from my phone on the screen for road trips.

Do I have to take the whole head unit out to access my radio's HDMI?

Get a aftermarket head unit with Apple's CarPlay. It still requires a cable but will give you all possible features for iOS otherwise. Several good threads here on that topic.
