Heated seats

I'm not sure about putting in a factory heated seat but there are quite a few aftermarket heated seat installation kits around. Ebay has lots and you can do it yourself or take it to an upholsterer. I looked into it for my wife's 2010 although we haven't done it yet. They are very reasonable.

Yes, you can install heated seats. The seat covers have to come off, and that's probably the most time consuming to remove the hog rings that fasten the seat covers to the seat body. To facilitate the reinstall use small zip ties in place of the hog rings. Power can be easily tapped under the shifter/armrest console, at least they could on the SG's.

Before removing the seats (they have to come out) make sure you disconnect the battery, you don't want any seat air bags going off. Good luck
