Hey guys just wanted to stop by i'm new here just found out about this place
... Anyways i just traded in my 07fxt for a 11xt premium . A day or so after i got it home i noticed that i couldnt' seem to locate the heated seat switch in the car until i found that it isn't even an option for the premium so my question is can i install heated seats in the premium edition with cloth interior? Thanks for the help guys u'll be seein me around alot more often..Thanks |

I'm not sure about putting in a factory heated seat but there are quite a few aftermarket heated seat installation kits around. Ebay has lots and you can do it yourself or take it to an upholsterer. I looked into it for my wife's 2010 although we haven't done it yet. They are very reasonable.

Yes, you can install heated seats. The seat covers have to come off, and that's probably the most time consuming to remove the hog rings that fasten the seat covers to the seat body. To facilitate the reinstall use small zip ties in place of the hog rings. Power can be easily tapped under the shifter/armrest console, at least they could on the SG's.
