Default Hi guys , I need help regarding seats swap!!

Hi everyone, this is my first post here, really glad that I found this forum.. I would like to ask all the experienced forester owners here a question regarding seats swapping ..
Here it goes, my current ride is a Forester xt 2.0 SG5, I am not sure if they bear the same name over at your side. I am contemplating to purchase a set of wrx spec C seats to revamp my boring interior. After browsing through the various threads in the forum, I know that the front will fit in nicely. But how about the back? The Spec C 's rear seats are off from a sedan, not a wagon, so what is my chances of fitting them into Sg5? Kindly advise me. Thanks guys!

i don't think anyone here has put sedan seats into their wagon mostly because they'll lose the ability to fold the seats down for additional cargo. I would put the Spec C fronts in and just rewrap the rears to match.

oh i see.. the seller want to sell the whole set of interior plus door panels, he refuse to sell just the front seats, so i was thinking if the rear is possible to fit, then I will just use the rear also, I dont really need the extra boot space though.. thanks for your advise!Oh yeah... its very very rare to see someone driving wrx wagon over my side of the globe, so rear seats from wrx wagon is really difficult to find.. so i guess i have to compromise with sedan spec C 's seats..

The rear lower bottom seat should bolt in no problem. As far as the backs have a good shop swap over the covers for the backs & they should beable to make it all look factory.

Default Need: New front seats

Hi,

I've been trying to search both this forum and on the Internet, but still have quite some difficulties to find what I want :)

The front seats of my 1999 Forester GX is not to comfortable. It makes my lumbar region hurt after a short time of driving, so I would very much like to change both front seats.

Anyone know where to look? I have tried some of the links provided here, but… no luck. I’ve also tried eBay, but most of the seats there are racing style. I guess I would like to have a bastard of 50% racing and 50% touring :)

Anyone know about the brackets for Subaru seats? Is the same for most models, or have it been changed? If most Subaru seats can be used towards models, maybe it would be possible to find some at a car scrapper.

Many thanks for any help!!
