Hand-stitch Steering wheel wrap?

Has anyone installed one of these? I'm interested in seeing how it looks when installed.

Years ago, I installed one.
It should look as good as in the picture @ the seller's store- if you're a good seamstress

That's awesome. I hope I'm skilled enough to run the thread but probable haven't sewed anything before.

I installed this one, took about a hour and looks great. Leather Steering Wheel Covers Manufacturer and Distributor.

I installed a Wheelskins wrap on my old car when the steering wheel started looked worn out. It took me a long time, but that was mainly because it was a very hot day and I made a bunch of small mistakes. I decided that if I had to install a second wrap, I would have done much better and avoided any of the gotcha's I ran into during my first time.

Forester for life!

The xuji wrap is on the way. Let's see how good I am with a needle and thread.

I installed one similar to this one. My advice is PATIENCE! In can be installed with the steering wheel in the car (I did it that way) but you would probably get a better result if you remove the steering wheel. It probably took me 2-1/2 hours to complete, but I think it looks better than the factory cover in my wife Forester Limited. It feels better too.

Good luck and take your time. Don't get frustrated. The extra effort put into the sewing pays off with a better looking finished product.

Test fit is looking and feeling good. Need to wait for a few hours free to get it on and stitched up.

Put some double face tape on the steering wheel where the spokes are, front and back. This help hold the cover down because you skip sewing at the spokes.

The instructions showed adding a ton of tape. Definitely added more around the spokes though.

Finished product. The hardest parts were the corners but all in all not terribly difficult.
