all weather mats

anyone had problems with excessive wear on their all weather mats in a 09 forester? I had mine for 2 1/2 months and the one on the driver's side is worn through. I have rubber mats on my Vibe (bought at Pep Boys three years age) and they are way better. can I have it replaced at teh deale at no cost or is it consif=dered wear and tear? Thanx

I don't really know about this as I don't have the OEM all weather mats.......no need in FLA, but generally speaking that sounds like excessive wear and I would go to the dealer after 2 1/2 months of use and feeling like they are falling apart. I know that SOA offers a warranty on their parts and accessories just not sure what it would be on mats but I would think they should last longer than a couple of months.............by far!

i've had mine for 3 months and they dont show any wear. Where did yours wear through? I'd guess just under the pedals. I'd take em back and see what they say

Absolutely take 'em back! I have the SG OEM all weather mats, thicker than anything you'd find at pep boys. 5 years of mud and snow and they're still in pretty good shape!

Same thing happened to mine after about 9 months, maybe 6k miles. It wore through where my right heal rested while on the gas pedal. I took them back and they gave me new ones no questions asked. I must say, they aren't the most rugged floor mats out there. pretty wussy.

Does anyone have the Husky liners for their Subaru? I would like to know if they are as good as promised.

MORE of the same here.... There's a small 1/2 inch split where my heal rests..... Didn't notice it until I pulled the mats out and saw the light coming through the split... Mine are over a year old though...

If these fail you do a search on weathertech mats.

I purchased these for my 09. They are amazing. Check out my journal for pics.

We bought a set for my wife’s new Impreza one month ago. They are the Husky liners (Floor Liner model). I highly recommend them. They are more durable than the weather tech brand floor liners I have in my Forester. Husky Liners DO NOT move around on your carpet, they anchor themselves quite nicely.
