I've been using the auto expressions summer mellon but they don't last long enough...still trying to find a california scent that I like because they last forever and a day.

A slightly tanned, 33 year old hide that is daily bathed with dial.

Seriously though, when I bought my 99 (at 78k miles) it had a...distinct smell from an unknown source. Slightly sweet, but different. Never did go away. I just bought Jami's XT (54k miles) and it has an air freshner/car dealer spray smell that hasn't gone away yet.

My problem is our mini-van. I has a strong stale carpet smell. Can't seem to get rid of it

I use either of the bottom 2 on the RH side of this page, currently it's the center one.
I put the A/C on recirculate and fan on 4 (flat strap) and 1 or 2 sprays onto the mat in the passenger side and the A/C sucks in the mist and blows the scent all through the car.

A couple times I have thought about putting my freshner in with my fan were the filter is to clean the air in the car.
