Noticed today when trying to charge my cellular phone on the car charger. The Forester cuts off power to the accessory power sockets when you turn off the ignition key.
I guess this is how Subaru wants it, but on my other cars I can leave the cell phone hooked up to the charger and it will finish charging if left in the car because the accessory sockets stay juiced when the key is off. I don't suppose there's any way to override this feature on the Forester ('09 model) so you can run an accessory when the ignition key is off? |
