I definitely wouldn't have been so calm, I think the kid was in shock more than any thing. These kids wanted to get a rise out of him, I don't think this is what they had in mind. It was like the kid had never been in trouble before and didn't know what to do. With that said..............I would have taken my hand back instantly. If he refused to hand back my camera I would take it back and his arm with me too if he didn't let go. If you know how to bend the joints on the human body there is no need to strike him. Just ask this guy.

I would've kneed him in the balls, but that's just me.

funny I can't see youtube at work but walking through the cafeteria I caught the upcoming news report preview about it and I'm sorry I don't care who you are, if you are not in uniform with a badge that says police (and probably military) I would punch you square in the nose if you grabbed me and wouldn't let go.

Criminal Law: The Elements of Simple Assault in Washington, DC | Koehler Law

dc criminal code §22-404(a)(1)

There are two forms of misdemeanor assault (that is, simple assault) in Washington, D.C. First, there is “attempted battery assault” which occurs when the defendant injures or attempts to injure another person. The second form, “intent-to-frighten” assault, is defined as a threatening act that puts another person in reasonable fear of immediate injury.
In both cases, the prosecution must also demonstrate that the defendant’s act was voluntary and that the defendant had the actual ability to injure the other person at the time of the incident. “Injury” is defined as any physical injury, however slight, and includes an “offensive touching.”
The penalty for either form of this type of assault is $1,000 and/or imprisonment of up to 180 days.

What I have observed from many of the DC crowd over the last 2 years is an elitist, above the law type of attitude or behavior and it's high time we put a stop to it because rather than behaving like they are our employees, which in fact they are, many of them are attempting to lord over the rest of us and it should not be tolerated.

This is not confined to this particualr Representative or either side of the isle for that matter and from what I can tell, this type of attitude is pervasive throughout DC and may very well be the rule rather than the exception. I have seen quite a few of the Representatives become more humble in the wake of all the outrage regarding their actions of late which is refreshing indeed, however I get the impression that far too many of them are simply "humoring the angry Americans" so as to avoid any unpleasantness as well.

What the Congressman did was in fact assault according to the criminal code and he should go to jail for 180 days which would give him time to not only humble himself, but to sort out his sexual orientation as well because it seems to me he is way too fond of manhandling boys and maybe he could use a play date with Barney Frank.

The Congressman and I are fortunate we didn't run into each other I suppose because I grew up in a different time, one where please and thank you were common place and any unwanted physical contact without a sincere "excuse me" would likely be met with some sort of verbal or physical retaliation and in the case of a Holier than Thou Congressman, he would quite likely have found himself crawling back to his office, after he located his testicles and teeth that is.

Or you can ask this guy, Royce and Shamrock, to this day my favorite match because it showed what a small man could achieve against a much larger opponent when utilizing the proper technique.

Ah yes, nothing says go away better than Bear Spray and for anyone interested, this is the real deal, some of them don't work well but this one does.

Same gentleman I pictured above, became famous when the Gracie school put out a world wide challenge in the mid 70's to all martial artists. Royce was 16-18 years old and never threw a punch and defeated all of them. I believe they can be found on youtube as well (BJJ vs karate). Sorry, off-topic over continue congressman bashing.

Well, if he had me by the wrist, the knee would probably be more effective.

I'm sure he regrets that somebody might have been offended by his actions.

As soon as his hand touched my neck, I'd have pulled out my kick-boxing experience and blown out his knee. It's a dirty move, but everlasting... wish it'd never been done to me, but I know how to do it.

The wrist grabbing is one thing, but then grabbing his neck?!? I'm sorry sir, but you should now be eating pavement...

Meh, I like a good topic change as long as it's at least semi-interesting like Bear Spray and really, how much can you bash any particular Congressman before it gets old, lol.

I apologize, I saw the photo and didn't see the first name but since there are a few of them, I didn't realize we were pointing out the same individual.

Back on topic, if I would have had a can of Bear Spray with me, I would have used the entire thing on him, even if he were in the fetal position after the initial blast because this is exactly the type of DC clown that needs to be taught a serious lesson regarding who is supposed to be in charge of this country and it isn't him.

Considering the DC government's attitude toward firearms, it's probably a felony to carry bear spray there.

As far as I could determine with just a quick Google search, you must register pepper spray possession in DC for it to be considered legal, however even if it were a misdemeanor, it would be well worth it to see that wanker writhing in pain, lol.
