Two-click key fob unlock – Love it or hate it?

One click on the key fob unlocks the driver’s door. It takes two to unlock all the doors.

All the extra effort is killing me.

Love it. Safety features ftw!

I wish the interval time was less though (aka I could double click it super fast and have all the doors unlock instead of waiting a second or two between clicks).

I don't want that nasty looking guy lounging on the sidewalk to jump into my car when I press the button to let myself in. Been there back in the pre-remote days, and wouldn't want to repeat the scene with a one-click remote.

I have never understood how an extra half second to unlock all the doors is an inconvenience. Nor do I want everything to unlock when I only need the driver's door open.

A hatch only button would be nice though.

Definitely feel safer being able to unlock just the driver's door.

SHs have it. Unlocks the hatch only, but doesn't pop it open. I would like it to pop open.

Two click seems sensible to me. Why open all 4 doors if only the driver is getting in?

I love it because it is excellent for annoying the gf when I can get in the car and she can't ;)

It's funny how the haters outnumber the lovers, but none of them has told us why.

It wouldn't bother me at all if the interval between clicks was shorter. If I could do "beebeep" instead of having to wait and do "beep........ beep" I wouldn't notice it.

Hate it because I always have my little family riding in my car and my previous car allowed me to program either driver's door unlock or all doors unlock. Loved that feature and I have grown used to it.

The HP of a V6, the MPG of a V8.

Love it! I think of situations where I am entering the vehicle in a dark parking lot or a situation where I do not feel 100% comfortable. I love that when I click it once only my door opens so I do not have to worry about the other doors being an access point.

Hahaha I love doing this to my boyfriend!

It's not as funny when he does it to me. LOL!
